San Francisco in three days


It is definitely possible to visit San Francisco in three days, you just need have a plan so you don’t miss the best attractions. San Francisco may seem to many like a very big city, but it isn’t actually that big. People have said that after a month you can the city in and out. San Francisco is one of the most visited cities in United States and one of the top tourists’ destinations in the world. The city has a lot to offer and here are some attractions you can squeeze into three days.

1. Golden Gate Bridge
Golden-Gate-Bridge-san-francisco-1020074_1024_768This enormous bridge is worth a visit. If you don’t have any car, you can rent a bicycle and bike across the bridge. You can also walk over the 1,7 miles long bridge, but remember to bring warm clothes, because the winds there can be really cold. To get best pictures of the bridge, go up the Conzelman Rd into the Marine Headlands. There is many good viewpoints there.



 2. Alcatraz Island


This old prison is definitely worth a visit. The tours takes around 2-3 hours and tickets can be bought down at Pier 33.





3. Cable cars


The San Francisco cable car system is the world’s last manually operated cable car system. There are 3 operative lines, The Powell-Hyde, The Powell-Mason and The California Street. A single ride costs $6, but you can also by 1, 2 or 3 day passes




 4. Fisherman`s Wharf


There is a lot of fun to do at the Wharf. A lot of good seafood restaurants are located here. Piers 39 which is the third most visited attraction in U.S is very close to the Fisherman`s Wharf.



5. Chinatown 


Chinatown is San Francisco is the largest Chinatown outside of Asia. You can easily walk through this very populated district in less than one hour. Enjoy an Asian dinner at one of the restaurants.
